uPVC Casement Windows

uPVC, or Unplasticised Polyvinyl Chloride, is a highly durable, low-maintenance building material commonly used to frame double and triple-glazed windows. uPVC has very low thermal conductivity, meaning like wood it naturally insulates, helping to keep heat in, cold and noise out, and to ensure that your home stays secure. Also known as PVC and PVCu, uPVC is a cost-effective alternative to wooden or aluminium window framing. Aluminium Casement Windows

Aluminium is a reliable choice as the strong, durable material is virtually maintenance-free due to its corrosion resistance and strength. Your aluminium casement window will never rust, rot, peel, flake or warp. Aluminium is thinner compared to other framing materials such as uPVC or timber, which results in a higher ratio of glass, which makes for a clean, modern look. Available in Origin‘s OW-70 Slimline & OW-80 Premium or ALUK‘s 58BW with flush frame available. The newly launched aluminium Origin OS-70 Soho Window is a steel-look design offering an authentic industrial aesthetic with the slimmest sightlines and true glazing divides.

Timber Casement Windows

Timber is a natural insulator which makes wood casement windows one of the most energy-efficient choices as it reduces heat and cold transfer, as well as noise. Timber framing on your windows is also an excellent choice if you are looking for a beautiful timeless window that will be able to blend into an older property or meet the requirements of the planning/conservation officer.
